Islamabad, 17 Mar, 2010: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League has in a press statement here today assailed Indian media for dubbing Kashmiris in Delhi as terrorists to prevent them from carrying on their usual business or education activities in the city.”Indian media looks biased towards Kashmiris in Delhi or elsewhere in India. When a Kashmiri is arrested in Delhi, he is maligned, a storm is generated in a teapot to build malicious environment against in the city courts and every illegal act is attributed to prosecute them under terrorist laws,” he pointed out. He said the Kashmiris were facing fearful odds in the Metropolitan city and there was no safety of life and honor for the Kashmiris in India. The media fanned the flames of revenge and hate against the Kashmiris in Indian cities. He urged on the biased media to desist from anti Kashmiri tirade in the country. He warned that by portraying Kashmiris as terrorists and denying them their basic rights peace and normality would not return to Kashmir, nor would the region attain durable peace and stability.

Suicide Attacks Condemned
India’s belligerent attitude dangerous for the region, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani
Islamabad, 14 Mar, 2010: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman J&K People’s Freedom League has expressed shock over recent wave of terrorism and blood-bath from Karachi to Lahore, killing innocent Pakistanis in suicide attacks. He expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed to Allah for heavenly blessings on the souls of the victims of terrorism.
In yet another press statement Muhammad Farooq Rehmani expressed great concern over the belligerent attitude of India towards Pakistan and ruthless and revengeful policy of repression in Kashmir. While referring to the latest statement of India’s Home minister P. Chidambaram, in which he has warned Pakistan of “swift and decisive” response, he said the Indian intentions can jeopardize peace in the region.”But, any misadventure by India will not deter Kashmiris from their popular struggle for freedom and right of self determination,” he remarked.
