Armed Forces use UN signs as Camouflage against Kashmiris – Muhammad Farooq Rehmani
Islamabad, 07 Aug, 2010: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League has warned that the Armed Forces and Central Reserve Police Force in order to suppress the general Kashmiri protesters have appeared in the streets of Srinagar bearing UN color and signs (UN Force) as camouflage to hide the extent of the present crisis created by police atrocities in the entire Kashmir region. He urged on UN to take notice of such gross flagrant violation by troopers in Kashmir. Reminding the UNMOGIP authorities of their responsibilities in Kashmir Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that it was the height of Indian perfidy and mockery and must be dealt with sternly and the violator of the UN trust should be held answerable before the General Assembly during its forthcoming session in New York.
He said that by such camouflage in the streets of Kashmir India’s so called Rapid Action Forces will never be able to deceive the people of Kashmir; they recognize their killer in every garb. He said that Indian statements and those of her puppet regime’s on the situation were full of generalities and ambiguities and failed to come to specifics of the turmoil in Kashmir. Noting some saner voices over India’s horizon, he appealed to India’s general public and philanthropists and impartial writers to support the voice of freedom in Kashmir by support-protests for the Kashmiris in Delhi; before the Parliament and other metropolitan regions of India.
