Terrorism, talks can’t go together: Farooq Rehmani


Srinagar, April 26: The Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has said that terrorism and talks cannot go together.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in his telephonic address from Muzaffarabad to party activists in Srinagar called upon the world community to come forward and play its role in resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

He condemned the issuance of Dogra certificate to the residents of Jammu and demanded revocation of all black laws.

He also demanded the immediate unconditional release of all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists languishing in different jails of India and the occupied territory. Condemning the murder of a pesh imam, Muhammad Ashraf Lone, he described it a barbaric act and demanded transparent probe.

Other party leaders in the meeting including Imtiaz Ahmad Shah, Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parray, Abdur Rasheed Mattoo, Arshad Aziz and Dr Atta Muhammad reiterated their pledge to continue their struggle for securing right to self-determination at all costs.
