Islamabad, Oct 14: The Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has felicitated Muslims on the eve of Eidul-Adha, expressing the view that although the Muslims are the torch bearers of the message, struggle and sacrifices of Hazrat Ibrahim(AS) and Hazrat Ismael(AS), but the Christians and Jews also have faith in them and mankind have all regard and respect for Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). Therefore future of humanity looks towards the followers of these three great faiths. While Muslims have faith in all the prophets of Allah and the books revealed on them in different times; Jews and Christians distorted or modified Allah’s revelations sent through His Prophets, according to their interests and desires, and finally ridiculed Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) as the last messenger of Allah on Earth and Qur’an as the last Book of God for mankind. He said that animosity between these three faiths had gone up and the Christian world and the Zionist Israel had united despite their old bloody feuds, against the Muslims, jeopardizing peace of the innocent humanity on Earth. Unfortunately, Muslims who could rid humanity of this plague, had been wasting their energy in their own feuds in these testing times.

He said that Europe after having wasted centuries in loot, arson and massacre of humanity, fighting two world wars to shed blood of millions, was now looking greedily towards the East, especially Muslim countries. Foreign powers were like vultures and wolves droning missiles upon and slaughtering Afghanis and Iraqis to gain control over their unlimited underground resources of oil, gas water, etc. Some totalitarian Muslim regimes also were not behaving differently with their Muslim citizens.

He said in Miyanmar Burma Budh rulers and leaders were perpetuating Muslim massacre and forcing them to flee from their homes land turning deaf ear to any outside humanitarian call for peace. Palestine was the oldest story of Zionist repression. Israel had not abandoned its illegal settlement policy on the occupied Arab lands and Palestinians had not been given their independent and sovereign home land despite the UN pledges. Unfortunately, Arab rulers had no planning except to perpetuate their own totalitarian or dynastic regimes.

On Kashmir Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said, “The Kashmiris despite the UN pledge of the right to self-determination, continue to remain deprived of exercising this right. Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is 66 years old, but no tangible step has been taken to implement the UNCIP resolutions. During all these fateful years the people in large numbers were forced to leave their homes, forcibly disappeared, martyred, put behind bars, prosecuted, and women were raped to break nerves of this struggle. Today, some political prisoners are facing life sentence till death and one Kashmiri Afzal Goroo was hanged by Indian court without giving him any chance to prove his innocence. APHC Chairman Syed Ali Geelani is kept under house-arrest on every important political, religious or protest day for the last 2 years, and yet the regime claims to have vote and support of the people. The army is exercising illegally all police and bureaucracy powers. But, the popular resolve to defeat the occupied regime is unshakable. In fact a sea of humanity in South Asia seems vulnerable to the danger of war due to this dispute. It is high time that both Pakistan and India should ponder over this situation and realize the salvation of their peoples lie in granting the right of plebiscite to the people of Kashmir.”
