JKPFL commemorates Nazir Ahmad Shah’s sacrifices
Srinagar, June 16: Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League held meetings to mark the 22nd martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed leader and commander Nazir Ahmad Shah of (Jehad Force) in different towns and villages of Kashmir, Srinagar, Bandipora, Baramulla, Islamabad, etc. The veteran Freedom fighting commander & political leader was martyred in Bemina on June, 14.94. It was the handiwork of army, police and their informers and collaborators who martyred him, followed by many hundreds of freedom fighters in 1994, the statement reads.
The Fateh-Khani meetings paid glowing tribute to him and vowed to fight for freedom from Indian yoke under all circumstances.
In Kalusa Bandipora, his home town workers of People’s Freedom League and other residents arranged Qura’n Khawani to remember the martyred leader.
In Srinagar, Muhammad Ramzan Khan General Secretary of the organization addressed a meeting of Quran- Khawani and the meeting with one voice condemned Indian conspiracies to convert Kashmir into a minority Muslim State under the PDP-BJP coalition regime.
