JKPFL holds protest in Srinagar against Udhampur incident; Ramzan Khan others arrested

JKPFL held protest in Srinagar, against Udhampur incident. led by its General Secretary Muhammad Ramzan Khan.
Srinagar, October 12, 2015: Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League[JKPFL], here held a protest demonstration today in Lal Chowk, Srinagar against torching of a Kashmir-bound truck at Udhampore in which three Kashmiri truckers sustained serious burn injuries who are now battling for life in Delhi hospital, to draw the attention of the world towards stepped up Hindu terrorism in Jammu.
The demonstration was led by JKPFL, General Secretary Muhammad Ramzan Khan and others. Protesters raised slogans against India and demanded protection of Kashmiri traders in Jammu and Delhi. In the meantime Indian police came in and arrested JKPFL General Secretary Muhammad Ramzan Khan, Imtiyaz Ahmed Shah, Arshad Aziz, Shoukat Ahmed Bhat, and others and lodged them in Kothi Bagh Police Station in Srinagar and didn’t allow to carry forward the demonstration. جموں و کشمیر پیپلز فریڈم لیگ کے ترجمان نے بھارتی نیم فوجی دستوں اور پولیس کی طرف سے کشمیری نوجوانوں پر پیلٹ گنوں کی بارش اور بے تحا شا پیپر گیس، گرینڈ کے استعما ل پراپنی سخت تشویش کا اظہار کیا اور اس کی سخت الفاظ میں مذمت کی ہے۔
پیپلز فریڈم لیگ کے ترجمان نے ایک بیان میں کہاہے کہ فورسز کی طرف سے حا لیہ دنوں میں سینکڑوں نوجوان پیلٹ اور پیپر گیس کے استعمال سے متاثر ہو ئے ہیں۔انہوں نے کہا کہ بھارتی فورسز نے کشمیر میں مضر صحت ہتھیاروں کا بے دریغ استعمال شروع کیا ہے۔ جس سے کئی خواتین جو کہ حاملہ تھیں ان کا حمل گرگیا اور کئی مرد وخواتین کو خون کی الٹیاں شروع ہوگئی اور بہت سے لوگ اس وجہ سے اب بیمار ہو گئے ہیں اور ایک خاتون چل بسی ۔ انہوں نے کہ کہ یہ گیس کئی سو کلومیٹر تک پھیل جاتی ہے اور اس کے اثرات عام لوگوں پر پڑ گئے ہیں۔ Read more…
Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League (PFL) demonstration stopped from presenting Memo to UN office Srinagar
Srinagar 18 July 2012(PR): A strong demonstration under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League, led by party’s General Secretary Muhammad Rafiq Ganai, to protest against the persecution, harassment, humiliation, arrest ,detention and desecration of worshiping places and sacred relics, urged, Indian government to stop its campaign of terror and torture, against the people, and asked the United Nations to fulfill its responsibilities in line with its charter and UNCIP resolutions, to resolve the long standing conflict of South Asia.
The protesters raised slogans against highhandedness of police, which stopped them from marching towards UNMOGIP office to present a memorandum with the UN officials.
They were arrested along with M Rafiq Ghanai and Haji Gh Ahmad, leaders of the JKPFL in Srinagar before they could reach the UN office. The march was started from Lal Chowk today.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League has strongly condemned the incident, as undemocratic and inhuman.
